Sadly, the chances of a nonprofit failing are pretty high. Let’s dive into the most common reasons why nonprofits fail so we can avoid these mistakes in the future.

I can’t tell you how many times a week people post on nonprofit forums, “How do I start a nonprofit?”, or some variation thereof. The good news is that people want to make a positive difference and fight against injustices. The problem is, we don’t need more nonprofits, we need better-equipped ones. 

Through everything from strategic guidance and capacity building, to program evaluation and grant writing, my mission is to empower small to midsized nonprofits to grow sustainably and do their best work. Much like the nonprofits I work with, I’m not trying to single-handedly save the world, but I will sure as hell be a part of the change.
